Dolby Vision es el formato HDR dinámico de Dolby — y desde su lanzamiento se considera la referencia técnicamente más ambiciosa en la reproducción HDR frente al HDR10 estático. Con profundidad de color de 12 bits (frente a 10 bits del HDR10) y control dinámico de metadatos escena a escena, Dolby Vision permite a los estudios de masterización y al hardware home cinema adaptar la imagen HDR de forma mucho más precisa al display concreto. Hacer funcionar un proyector o televisor compatible con Dolby Vision es ver la diferencia sobre todo en las zonas más oscuras y más brillantes de la imagen.
Una placa Dolby Vision encaja en una sala donde el estándar HDR no se acepta pasivamente sino que se aprovecha activamente. Propietarios de un proyector o televisor certificado Dolby Vision que utilizan realmente el formato en la reproducción. Constructores de home cinema que saben lo que significa player-LED en la lógica de tone mapping frente al display-LED. Cinéfilos que comisarían su colección UHD específicamente en torno a títulos Dolby Vision.

I ordered several of these signs for my Home Theater … they are perfect. Exactly as described. Took slightly longer to receive them, but they showed up well packed and in perfect condition … well worth the time and money to receive these!
