AudioControl was founded in Washington state in 1977 — and has since defined its own position in the AV market: serious home-cinema electronics taken very seriously in the custom-installation and aftermarket worlds, without the premium attached to bigger audiophile names. From the Concert AVR line through Reserve power amps and Bijou processors to the measurement and RTA tools the brand started with, AudioControl covers the AV spectrum deep into custom-install territory.
An AudioControl sign belongs in a room where the setup was curated by an installer rather than an online order. Owners of a Concert AVR, a Reserve amplifier chain or a Bijou processor. Listeners and installers who know that the really interesting AV brands often don't appear in the normal hi-fi shop.
