Trinnov Audio is the French processor maker that turned room correction and immersive audio from afterthought into engineered discipline. The Altitude line — Altitude32, AltitudeAir, Altitude16 — sits at the centre of more reference home cinema rooms than almost any competitor, combining 3D immersive decoding (up to 9.4.6 with Atmos, DTS:X and Auro 3D under one chassis) with the Optimizer measurement and correction system that maps a room three-dimensionally and treats it as part of the system.
A Trinnov sign belongs in a room where the processor was specified before the receiver was even on the list. Owners of an Altitude16 or Altitude32 with full 3D Mic calibration. Home-cinema builders for whom Trinnov is not the upgrade but the baseline. Audiophiles who treat the processor as the most important link in the chain — not the loudest.
