Yamaha was founded in Japan in 1887 — as a reed-organ workshop. Almost 140 years on, the company simultaneously builds concert grand pianos, studio microphones, NS speakers and AV receivers — and genuinely connects those worlds. Few other audio brands can honestly claim that the tonal philosophy of their AVRs grows from the same tradition as the concert grand sitting in the mastering studio next door.
A Yamaha sign belongs in a room where music doesn't start at the playback device. Owners of an Aventage generation AVR, a CX-A pre-pro, or a pair of NS-5000.
