Wharfedale was founded in 1932 by Gilbert Briggs in Yorkshire — named after the Wharfedale valley, where the company initially built its loudspeakers in a back-yard workshop. More than nine decades on, Wharfedale stands among the few British loudspeaker brands whose identity rests on a continuous craft heritage — and carries that tradition into today's listening rooms through the Linton Heritage Series, the Evo4 and the accessible Diamond line.
A Wharfedale sign belongs in a room where British hi-fi tradition is taken seriously. Owners of the Linton, an Evo4 configuration or a Diamond Heritage setup. Listeners who relate more to a speaker with veneered wood than to one that looks like it was designed in pure CAD.
The natural spot: in the listening room facing the speakers, on the hi-fi rack, or next to the turntable. If you run Wharfedale, you most likely chose your amplification and cabling carefully too — take a look at our Rotel, Marantz and AudioQuest signs as well.
30 × 20 cm (11.8 × 7.9 in) • 3 mm brushed-gold aluminium surface
