The Aetherion Max is AWOL Vision's CES 2026 flagship — the ultra-short-throw 4K triple-laser projector that takes the same chassis and image pipeline as the Pro and pushes brightness to 3,300 ISO lumens, with the same 6,000:1 native contrast, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, IMAX Enhanced and Filmmaker Mode support. On the gaming side: 240 Hz / 1 ms input handling, Dolby Vision Gaming, VRR and ALLM. Up to a 200-inch image at 0.2:1 throw ratio. For the UST category, the Max is the reference for daylight-tolerant cinema-scale projection.
An Aetherion Max sign belongs in a room where the projector wasn't chosen to compromise with the windows. Owners of a large ALR UST screen in a multi-purpose cinema. Home-cinema builders for whom the Max replaces both the TV and the long-throw projector. Cinephiles who saw the brightness budget the format demands and went for it.
