Barco — founded in Belgium in 1934 — has been one of the major names in professional projection and image technology for decades. Barco Residential is the group's separate luxury line for home cinemas that can hold a serious comparison to commercial theatres. The Norse-named projector tiers — Bragi, Loki, Heimdall, Njord — bring laser cinema technology straight out of the professional auditorium into the private room, at light levels and screen sizes otherwise reserved for IMAX halls.
