Parasound was founded in San Francisco in 1981 by Richard Schram — and has since been the American amplifier maker whose Halo line counts as what's actually achievable between audiophile high-end and serious practical amplification. With John Curl as long-standing designer, Parasound has developed the JC1 and JC2 amplifiers with technical substance not always found in much higher price brackets — and the A21+, A23+ and A52+ carry the same discipline into multi-channel home cinema.
A Parasound sign belongs in a room where the amplifier chain was actually built for the speakers, not for the spec sheet. Owners of a JC1 mono-block pair, a JC2 preamplifier, or an A21+/A23+ combination. Listeners who know what John Curl once defined in amplifier design — and that it still resonates through the current Halo programme.
The natural spot: on the wall of the hi-fi rack, in the AV area, or in the listening room next to the speakers. If you run Parasound, you most likely chose your speakers for musicality too — take a look at our Bowers & Wilkins, Focal and AudioQuest signs as well.
30 × 20 cm (11.8 × 7.9 in) • 3 mm brushed-gold aluminium surface
