Onkyo Sign

Onkyo was founded in Japan in 1946 — and the brand name has stood since then for one of the major chapters in Japanese home-cinema history: AV receivers with uncompromising amplification and a tradition of technical substance that shaped the mass-market segment of the industry for decades. Despite a changing corporate history, Onkyo remains a brand whose TX Series and Reference AVRs form the amplification knot of many serious home cinemas.

An Onkyo sign belongs in a room where AV hardware doesn't start with the latest receiver generation. Owners of a TX-NR model, a TX-RZ setup, or a Reference set from an earlier era. Listeners who don't change their AVR every two years but keep it as long as it delivers.
