Stewart Filmscreen was founded in the United States in 1947 by Roy Stewart — and has been among the brands whose home-cinema screens hang in studio mastering rooms, post-production suites and many of the most serious home cinemas worldwide. The StudioTek 100, the FireHawk generations and the Phantom HALR screens set the standard in image uniformity, off-axis behaviour and reflection management — and in premium custom-install setups they're typically chosen not for marketing but as a step in the design process.
A Stewart Filmscreen sign belongs in a room where the screen is understood as reference image reproduction. Owners of a StudioTek 100, a FireHawk G5, or a Phantom HALR configuration. Home-cinema builders who know what a 1.0-gain screen does differently from a 1.5 — and for whom that choice is deliberate.
The natural spot: on the front wall of the cinema room, in the projection room, or in the equipment area. If you run Stewart Filmscreen, you most likely chose your projector and image processing carefully too — take a look at our JVC, Sony, Christie and madVR signs as well.
