4K HDR Sign

4K HDR is the current standard in home-cinema image reproduction — and describes not one but two concepts working together: the 3840×2160 resolution (four times the pixel count of Full HD) and High Dynamic Range, meaning a significantly extended brightness and contrast range over the SDR norm. Only the combination of the two truly changes what's on screen — not making it "sharper" but making it more realistic in the contrast between deep black and simultaneous bright highlights.

A 4K HDR sign belongs in a room where the picture is judged not by resolution marketing but by realistic reproduction. Owners of an OLED, a Mini-LED, or a calibrated 4K HDR projector. Cinephiles who deliberately use UHD Blu-rays and HDR streaming. Home-cinema builders who understand that "HDR" isn't a marketing fashion but a technical step-change in the picture standard.
