JVC — founded in Japan in 1927 — has consistently delivered one thing for more than two decades: home-cinema projectors with the native contrast against which the rest of the industry measures itself. D-ILA is JVC's own technology and the reason many home-cinema enthusiasts look at JVC for their first proper projection. Black here isn't "dark grey because projector" — it's black.

A JVC sign belongs in a room where black level isn't negotiable. Owners of a DLA-NZ generation, an NX Series, or an older Procision unit still delivering years on.
