JBL Synthesis is the JBL line you don't find in a store. Run as a separate flagship brand under JBL since 1992, Synthesis aims at rooms where the speakers aren't placed but built in — from wall-flush SCL reference monitors through dedicated Synthesis processors to the full Synthesis One mastering-room concept. Buying Synthesis isn't buying a product; it's buying an installed system.

A JBL Synthesis sign belongs in a room that was planned by an installer. Owners of in-wall SCL monitors, an SDP/SDR processor chain, or a fully calibrated Synthesis setup. People whose home cinema started with level diagrams, RT60 measurements and SMPTE specs. Cinephiles who know these speakers don't pass through the local hi-fi shop.
