Soundshaker Sign

SoundShaker is the American brand serving a discipline of its own in the home-cinema market: tactile transducers mounted directly to the seat or sofa, making low frequencies not audible but physically felt. The system uses the low-frequency signal from the AV receiver, sends it wirelessly to an amplifier, and feeds it through up to four shakers straight into the seat — a dimension a subwoofer can only partially reproduce at the listening position, because it lacks the body as an additional perception surface.

A SoundShaker sign belongs in a room where the home cinema is meant to be experienced, not just heard. Owners of a home-cinema seat with a built-in shaker, a sofa configuration with multiple SoundShakers, or a fully equipped cinema-recliner setup. Home-cinema builders who understand that the physical feel in the seat is its own chapter of the home-cinema experience — and treat it accordingly.
